Publishing Information

All Authors with an accepted abstract are invited to attend EuroSun2026 and to present their work at the conference. Only contributions that have been presented on site will be eligible for submission as full papers for the conference proceedings.

Following the conference, all submitted full papers will undergo a peer-review process. Upon acceptance, the papers will be published in the ISES Conference Proceedings Database, a publicly accessible and searchable online database. 

All papers accepted for publication will be included in the official conference proceedings, which will carry an ISBN, and each individual paper will be assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI). In addition, ISES is working toward having the proceedings indexed in Scopus and will provide updates on this process in the coming months.

A selected number of papers from EuroSun2026 will be invited for publication in the ISES scientific journal, Solar Energy Advances (SEA), in a Special Issue on EuroSun2026. Invitations will be issued based on an evaluation of accepted abstracts conducted by the SEA editorial team.

Solar Energy Advances is an ISES fully open-access journal. It reflects the work being done in transforming our energy production and consumption into a fully renewable system. The journal covers a broad range of topics relevant to solar energy research, development and applications.

All full papers submitted to Solar Energy Advances will undergo a rigorous review process. Papers accepted for publication will include a note indicating that the work was originally presented at the EuroSun2026. More information about Solar Energy Advances Jounal can be found here.

Only a limited number of papers will be selected for publication in Solar Energy Advances. Authors invited to submit to the journal will be asked to confirm whether they prefer publication in Solar Energy Advances or in the EuroSun2026 Conference Proceedings. "Double publication" in both Solar Energy Advances and EuroSun2026 Proceedings is not allowed.
